Clocktown Brewing Company Wins Connecticut Art Directors Club Award for Excellence
Clocktown Brewing Company, a Thomaston brewery and WORX client partner, was named the winner of an Excellence Award in the category of Business & Corporate Websites at the 45th CADC Awards Show. The CADC Awards show is an annual award ceremony hosted by the Connecticut Art Directors Club which recognizes excellence in 8 main categories: advertising, environmental design, graphic design, illustration, online/interactive, photography, student, and video.

North Easton Savings Bank, a WORX client partner, has been ranked the number one bank in Massachusetts by Forbes, in their listing of America’s Best Banks and Credit Unions. Of all the eligible FDIC-insured banks in the nation, less than 3% were included in the list.

Thomaston Savings Bank, a local bank and WORX client partner, developed a new community initiative aimed at providing meals to those in need.
The “Community Kitchen Project” paired local restaurants who are customers of the Bank, with food and crisis intervention organizations. Thomaston Savings Bank kicked off the initiative by purchasing meals from several local restaurants. The restaurants then prepared and delivered those meals to the selected groups.
To date, almost 6,000 meals have been purchased.
“I’m so proud of our team,” says Stephen Lewis, CEO and President of Thomaston Savings Bank. “We’ve been able to help two groups and bring them together and really benefit our community. It’s fulfilling to be able to make that happen for everybody and do it right within our local community.”
WORX client partner Drew Marine, a global leader in specialty chemicals and technical services to the maritime industry, has announced its plans for a new center of excellence in Waterbury, CT. The Drew Marine Global Innovation and Manufacturing Center will include a state-of-the-art research laboratory, as well as technical, quality assurance, pilot blending and full-scale manufacturing functions – bringing an estimated 50 new jobs to the area. Drew also plans to use this facility as a main distribution hub for its operations in North America.
